Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Aviation Scheduler is to schedule and coordinate flights including the aircraft, pilots, flight attendants and their travel arrangements. .

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. Work hours can vary, must be flexible.

Key Performance Objectives

1.      Work on actual projects or services to help achieve the objectives of the department
2.      Evaluate information to render an opinion or take action based on that information that will impact the department or function
3.      Possess skills to hasten resolution, assess course of action, and implement or take action based upon findings
4.      Work with team members in an effective manner to enhance communication within the department
5.      Must be detailed oriented

Key Responsibilities

a)      Interfaces with executive management and Marketing executives Schedule travel for company executives / passengers in company and contract aircraft
b)     Schedule ground transportation for both flight crew and passengers
c)      Arranges logistical items surrounding hotel accommodations and commercial flights for flight crew
d)     Schedules company aircraft for flights and maintenance
e)      Logs flight times and keeping department flight records
f)      Keeps passenger manifests and logs for all flights
g)     Obtains for both passengers and flight crew, any necessary permits or visas when flying into and out of foreign countries
h)     Arranges catering services when required
i)       Coordinates with fixed base operators (FBOs) and fuel suppliers
j)       Runs TSA / Veridocs no fly lists and World Compliance checks for passengers
k)     Inputs data into scheduling software to ensure crew legality for assignment to duties
l)       Performs other related duties as assigned

a)      Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with frequent interruptions or distractions
b)     Adapt to frequent changes in workload and be able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate while completing tasks within established time frames
c)      Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow Team Members, management, outside contacts, guest and the public
d)     Ability to meet the basic physical requirements of an office environment including moving freely and frequently about an office, accessing computers and related technologies using peripheral equipment and operating other office equipment
